Factors Affecting Emphysema Severity in COPD Patients

Conducted a comprehensive statistical analysis of 5K+ COPD patient records using R to identify factors affecting emphysema severity. Key predictors such as lung capacity, daily oxygen usage, and smoking status were identified through predictive analytics. Applied various statistical methods to ensure robust data accuracy and reliable results.

Final Outcome:

The result effectively predicted the percentage of enphysema with key factors such as oxygen usage per day, total lung capacity, functional residual capacity, percentage of gas trapping, and the FEV1/FVC ratio, demonstrating that lung function and damage are critical in determining emphysema severity.
